Painel é o primeiro do Brasil a reunir dados em série histórica de 2012 a 2023
São Paulo, outubro de 2024 – A CETESB lançou o Painel Dinâmico Logística Reversa, sendo o primeiro no Brasil a oferecer transparência de dados sobre o tema. Este relatório compila e classifica dados de logística reversa desde 2012 até 2023, quando mais de 820 mil toneladas de resíduos foram computadas em resultados de Logística Reversa.
A disponibilização destas informações para a sociedade é útil tanto para o cidadão /população quanto para o setor produtivo e faz parte do objetivo de ampliar a transparência às informações e dados da Companhia Ambiental, além de subsidiar o controle social das questões ambientais, especialmente importante na logística reversa.
Em 2023, do volume total reportado (820 mil t), 34% correspondem a pneus, 28% a embalagens em geral, 19% a óleo lubrificante acabado e 17% a baterias de chumbo-ácido.
O setor que tem mais empresas aderentes aos termos de compromisso de Logística Reversa é o setor de Embalagens em Geral, que corresponde a 70% das empresas comprometidas com essa solução. Dos 645 municípios paulistas, 558 possuem algum tipo de instalação de logística reversa.
O objetivo do painel é fornecer informações sobre o estágio atual de implantação da logística reversa no estado de São Paulo e fortalecer as práticas ambientais em diversos setores, aumentando a consciência da população sobre o tema. Os painéis incluem um mapa do estado de São Paulo, mostrando a presença ou ausência de instalações de logística reversa declarados por municípios e por setor. Isso permite que os setores econômicos planejem ações futuras para a expansão dos sistemas de logística reversa, bem como situa os setores de logística reversa presentes nos municípios.
“O estado de São Paulo, com forte atuação da CETESB, foi precursor na implantação de sistemas de logística reversa no país, evoluindo gradualmente dos termos de compromissos firmados com os setores voluntariamente, para uma obrigatoriedade de atendimento de metas e reporte de resultado, ampliando-se pouco a pouco tanto as formas de cobrança quanto os materiais e atividades sujeitas à demonstração de resultados. Tais evoluções resultaram em um amadurecimento e crescimento deste mercado de soluções voltadas à logística reversa, tendo aumentado em 170% a quantidade de resíduos recuperados, saltando de 300 mil toneladas em 2012 para 800 mil toneladas em 2022”, explica Liv Nakashima Costa, diretora de Gestão Corporativa e Sustentabilidade da CETESB.
